Many Legal Research Groups are conducted by the National and Local ELSA Groups

– Unilateral LRGs are conducted by one ELSA group.

– Bilateral LRGs are conducted as a cooperation between two ELSA groups.

– Multilateral LRGs are conducted as a cooperation between three or more ELSA groups.

  • Final Report of the Balkans Legal Research Group on Water Law

    In 2021, the Balkans Legal Research Group (ELSA Bulgaria, ELSA Hungary, ELSA Croatia, ELSA Serbia and ELSA Turkey) conducted research on water law.

  • Nordic Legal Research Group on Medical Law

    In 2020, four Nordic groups – ELSA Denmark, ELSA Finland, ELSA Sweden and ELSA Norway conducted research on patient’s self-determination in the Nordic countries.

  • Bilateral Legal Research Group on Criminal Law

    In 2021, ELSA Lviv, ELSA Kharkiv and ELSA Krakow conducted research on the freedom of expression under Criminal Law in Ukraine and Poland.

  • The Nordic Legal Research Group on Family law

    In 2019, ELSA Denmark, ELSA Finland, ELSA Norway and ELSA Sweden conducted research on the division of property between unmarried cohabitees.

  • Bilateral Legal Research Group on Human Trafficking

    In 2018, ELSA Komotini and ELSA Ankara conducted research on human trafficking.

  • Multilateral Legal Research Group on the Right to Protest

    In 2018, ELSA Iceland, ELSA LSE and ELSA Nanterre conducted research on the right to protest.
